Peter Young is an executive coach, coach supervisor, and group facilitator with international experience across a wide variety of sectors.
He has designed and delivered leadership development programmes and workshops for law firms, consulting firms and corporates throughout Europe, the USA and Asia. In addition he coaches individuals from accountancy, medicine, and the not-for-profit sector.
He is based near Oxford and has an M.A. in Psychological Coaching from the Metanoia Institute, London, a post-graduate certificate in Coaching and Mentoring Practice from Oxford Brookes University, and a diploma in Coach Supervision from the Coach Supervision Academy. He is a licensed practitioner of a range of psychological instruments for use in professional development including the LDF (Leadership Development Framework), Lumina Spark, MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Instrument), and SIMA (System for Identifying Motivated Abilities).
Prior to his move into executive development in 2000, Peter enjoyed a career in book publishing. He was Operations Director for Lion Publishing PLC, led a book distribution business in the UK, led international sales and marketing teams, and launched a publishing operation in Singapore.
His approach is thoughtful and empathetic, while being practical and challenging. He combines a wealth of organisational experience with the psychological depth and understanding to transform, inspire and motivate his clients, generating lasting change.
He works independently and in partnership with a network of associate consultants and coaches. The exact composition of the team is determined by the scope and nature of the client need.
